Wet Alarm Valve ZSFZ100/150/200
Acting as the key component in the wet automatic water spraying and fire extinguishing system, the wet alarm valve is constituted by alarm valve, hydraulic alarm bell, time delay unit, pressure switch, pressure gage, drain valve and so on. It is applicable to the environment with the temperature from 4℃ to 7℃. It is featured by compact structure, convenient for use and long service life, and meanwhile it has the functions of automatic reset and manual testing alarm.
When the fire fighting system is under servo working condition, the inside offire-fighting pipe network will be full of pressure water, and the alarm valve flap will be closed. Then the valve chamber will be divided into water supply chamber and system chamber, and meanwhile the circular groove on the valve seat will be sealed. At this time there will be no pressure water in the alarm branch pipe, so the hydraulic alarm bell could not give an alarm. Under the circumstance that there is fire in the protected area, the ambient temperature will reach up to the level above that of the temperature transducer (glass ballor fusible metal) with the closed-type sprayer, the temperature transducer will be crushed, the seal assembly will fall off, the sprayer will be unfolded and started to put out fire, at this moment the pressure in the system chamber will be declined, relatively large differential pressure will be formed between the upper and underneath of the valve flap, which will be lifted, and then the water channel will open and water will be supplied continuously to the system pipe network for extinguishing fire. At the same time the circular groove on the valve seat will open, pressure water will enter into alarm branch pipe andafter it passes the time delay unit, on the one hand the hydraulic alarm bellwill be drove, on the other hand the pressure switch will be switched on after it receives pressure signal, and will give an alarm to control center, and in the meantime the fire-fighting pump will be launched for supplying water topipeline network, so as to guarantee continuous extinguishment.
In order to keep the alarm valve to maintain normal operation condition all the time, the valve should be checked once every month and the experimental check should be carried out once every six months so as to enable safe and reliable operation.
